Program Improvement Process Training

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?  Definitely. . . FACULTY and COUNSELORS!   RESEARCHERS and INSTRUCTIONAL ADMINISTRATORS!

The training will involve:

·         Setting STUDENT OUTCOME STANDARDS

·         Selecting KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

·         Assessing student outcome variances of over performance and under performance

·         COMPARING OUTCOMES with other similar college programs

·         Selecting areas for probable results in Program Improvement

·         Developing IMPROVEMENT STRATEGIES and RESOURCES REQUESTS

Program Improvement data resources will include the Data Mart, VTEA Core Indicators, and EDD LMI.

Participants will work through a Program Improvement Planning exercise using actual college data and facilitated small group process.

Participants will leave with:

·         A Program Improvement experience and model with application within their own local college process

·         Internet resources for process, data access, and best practices

·         A training handout set for self-led local college training

FROM SOUTH HIGHWAY 99

Take Highway 99 to Merced.  Take the G Street exit.  Turn right onto G Street.  Proceed straight on G Street for a good 3 or 4 miles (through many stop lights-major streets that you will cross are Olive Avenue and Yosemite Avenue).  Turn left at Cormorant Drive that will turn into Community College Drive.  Follow the road around and you will be in the Tri-College Center parking lot.  Park in the parking lot closest to the building numbered TC-4; there are no parking permits needed.

FROM NORTH HIGHWAY 99

Take Highway 99 to Merced.  Take the V Street exit.  Turn left onto R Street. Proceed straight down R Street for 3 or 4 miles.  When you get to Yosemite Avenue, turn right.  Proceed straight on Yosemite Avenue.  Make a left turn onto G Street.  Turn left on Cormorant Drive, which leads into Community College Drive.  Follow the road around; this will lead you to the Tri-College Center parking lot.  Park in the parking lot closest to the building numbered TC-4; there are no parking permits needed
