11:45 a.m. CCCCO Report – Frank Abbott · VEST Update · Introduction to VTEA 8 Afternoon Session 12:15 p.m. Lunch 1:00 p.m. VTEA 8 Session – Gary Mendenhall & Frank Abbott to facilitate To prepare for this session, each college needs to come prepared to discuss WHAT they have done to meet VTEA 8 requirements. Frank Abbott, CCCCO Specialist, will provide recent VTEA 8 documentation for each college. PART I: Session will begin with a review to answer the following questions: · WHY are VTEA 8 required? · WHAT are they? PART II: · HOW colleges meet VTEA 8 requirements – Gary Mendenhall to facilitate discussion and sharing among college participants on this topic. PART III: · Are there any Regional activities we want to consider to help colleges meet VTEA 8 requirements? 3:00 p.m. Adjourn Directions to West Hills College Lemoore From HWY 99 Northbound: Take 198 West to Hanford/Lemoore for approximately 30 miles. Take HWY 41 North to Fresno, stay on the right lane and exit on Bush Street. At the stop sign, turn left on Bush (West); stay on Bush until you see the college and turn left on College Ave. Enter the college parking lot (free parking) and ask for directions, in the Administration Bldg, for the Conference Center. From HWY 99 Southbound: Take HWY 41 South to Lemoore for approximately 30 miles. Exit on Bush Street. At the stop sign, turn right on Bush (West); stay on Bush until you see the college and turn left on College Ave. Enter the college parking lot (free parking) and ask for directions, in the Administration Bldg, for the Conference Center.
