A guided tour of the UC Merced campus planned for 3 p.m.

When you register to attend this event, please indicate your interest in this tour of the campus.

 

University of California, Merced

Kolligian Library, Room 209-Gold Wing

(Travel directions, parking information, and campus map are provided below.)

The walk from the parking lot to the Kolligian Library will take about 15 minutes!  If you want to walk this distance, please allow sufficient time to do so.  If you prefer to ride, a tram from Lake Lot #2 to the Kolligian Library will be available between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and again at 3:00 p.m.  See additional details below under Parking Information.

Continental breakfast served at 9:30 a.m.

Lunch will be served at 12 noon.

Directions to UC Merced

(NOTE:  Allow 15 minutes to drive from the Highway 99 exit to the campus.  Distance is approximately 8 miles.)

FROM SOUTH HIGHWAY 99
Head north on Highway 99 to Merced and take ‘G’ Street exit. Turn right onto ‘G’ Street, heading north. Proceed on ‘G’ Street through several major intersections. Turn right on Yosemite Avenue. Turn left on Lake Road. Proceed approximately one mile to the campus. 

FROM NORTH HIGHWAY 99
Head south on Highway 99 to Merced and take the Martin Luther King Street exit. Turn left onto Martin Luther King Street, heading north. Turn right on 16th street. Turn left on ‘G’ Street and proceed through several major intersections. Turn right on Yosemite Avenue. Turn left on Lake Road. Proceed approximately one mile to the campus.

PARKING INFORMATION:  IMPORTANT!

Park in Lake Lot #2.  This parking lot has a gravel road.  The walk  from this parking lot to the Kolligian Library will take you about 15 minutes!  For those who prefer to ride, a tram will be available.  The tram will depart at 9:30 a.m., 9:45 a.m., and 10 a.m.  The tram will be available again at 3 p.m. to return you to the parking lot.

SUGGESTION:  Wear comfortable shoes!

PARKING PASSES:  A daily parking pass costs $4.  The Central Region Consortium has purchased parking passes and will mail a parking pass to each registered participant in advance of the event (time permitting).   If you do not receive a parking pass, call Sue Clark at 209.575.6915 (or email at clarks@yosemite.cc.ca.us), or plan to bring $4 to purchase a day pass.
