December 2010— The Central Region Consortium recently launched a new web site to encourage greater usage and sharing of information between the fourteen Community Colleges in the region.

The new site launched in early December and features events, news, resources, and a new bulletin board that allows users to post announcements, grant opportunities, professional development resources, and job announcements. In addition, the site includes a resource library that includes links to a wide range of publications and articles, partner web sites, and Economic Workforce and Development’s Curriculum Resource Database.  

“We wanted to provide a web site that would serve as a resource for our Community Colleges. It was important to not only provide information but also encourage communication and sharing of resources,” said Sue Clark, Central Region Consortium Project Manager.
